Cookie Statement
Last updated: 19 July 2026
The short version. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to log you in and keep you signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt in or out of.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work (for example, to remember that you are logged in); others are used to measure traffic or show ads. ListGuard uses only the essential kind.
2. Which cookies we use
We use strictly necessary cookies set by our login system to create and maintain your session and to protect the sign-in form against cross-site request forgery. These cookies:
- keep you signed in after you log in (your session lasts about 30 days unless you log out);
- are set only once you interact with the login area, not for anonymous visitors browsing the homepage;
- are first-party (set by ListGuard) and are not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for (logging in), no consent banner is required for them under EU rules.
3. What we do not use
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool, advertising cookies, social-media pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not build a profile of your browsing.
4. Local storage on your device
If you connect your own ZeroBounce or Hunter.io API key, that key and your provider choice are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This stays in your browser and is only sent to us at the moment you run a verification, so we can pass your list to the provider you chose. You can clear it at any time from the settings page or by clearing your browser storage.
5. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that if you block the essential login cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to ListGuard.
